Manitoba Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate

To encourage students to study and attract more international students to receive their post-secondary education in Manitoba, the Manitoba Tax Office has schemes where students are able to receive up to 60% rebate on their eligible post-secondary tuition fees.

With the Manitoba Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate, recent graduates, including international graduates, are able to pay for their education while living and working here in Manitoba.

Who is eligible?

Any student who recently graduated with a degree, diploma or certificate from a post-secondary institution recognised by the Canada Revenue Agency on or after January 1, 2007 and now work and pay taxes in Manitoba are eligible to benefit from the Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate. The post-secondary training can take place in or out of Manitoba and includes flight training.

Lakeside Flight School is a recognised Designated Learning Institute and student pilots who graduate from here are eligible under the schemes as well.
